Literacy Initiative:
Parents receive a three-month calendar of workshops for them.
At workshops, the Literacy Initiative gives parents a variety of items to remind them to talk to their children while they do everyday activities with them.
Oversized bookmark "Tip Sheets" highlight everyday moments when parents can strike up conversations with their children.
"Education Sheets" offer parents more information: what to talk about at different moments of the day.
The multilingual "Born To Read" pamphlet offers parents great tips for reading to babies.
