
Lei-Anne Y. Ellis, Literacy Coordinator
Lei-Anne held various management positions while working for large international hospitality companies for twenty years. During this time, she specialized in training development. After living abroad for 20 years, she returned to the United States and obtained a master's degree in Family, Culture, and Society with a minor in Reading and Writing. For the past 12 years, she has developed programming and curricula to educate parents about early childhood literacy development. In recognition of her efforts, in 2004, she was named a Massachusetts Literacy Champion for her work in the field of literacy education.

Susan Richards, Out-of-School-Time Coordinator
Susan is a respected after-school and community leader. She developed and directed the award winning Teen Media Program at the Cambridge Art Center before assuming the position of center's Executive Director in 1994. Under her leadership as Executive Director, the center was a finalist for the President's Committee on Arts and Humanities "Coming Up Taller" award in 2000. She has received numerous awards: YWCA's Tribute to Women Award, Cambridge Community Television's Leading Role Award, City of Cambridge Peace Commission's Peace and Justice Award, and the MIT President's Community Service Award. Susan received a B.A. in Sociology and Communications in 1985 from the University of Massachusetts/Boston.
